How we don't have a GenCon thread yet is beyond me. Here are the dates. July 30 to Aug 2.
As of the time of this positing GenCon is still a go despite the pandemic. Honestly, I think I'm just posting this to tempt fate as i finely put in my time off request at work Friday. That said...
Tickets are available now event registration goes live Noon EST May 17-2020 Brian Jackmen should have the schedule in to GB7 for scheduling but I haven't seen a copy.
See you there... force willing.

If you have to force it, is it actually willing?

Actually i was shocked. With it being mid august, 3 months away i can't see how they can think we'll still be in this panic-demic that long..

Actually i was shocked. With it being mid august, 3 months away i can't see how they can think we'll still be in this panic-demic that long.. It's end of July this year, so it's actually just over 2 months away at this point. But large gatherings are likely to be restricted for a while, like sports games. So if an NBA game can't have 20,000 people, why would Gen Con be allowed to have 50,000+? Most science indicates there will need to be some restrictions till there's a vaccine or else we're inviting an outbreak. Not as restrictive as we are now, but some level of restrictions. It's not going to be back to normal for a while, and the people rushing to get back to normal are going to be the ones causing issues. My family and I are very vulnerable, so I'm not going to feel safe in a large gathering for a while. Even smaller game days may take some time to come back again. I know I wasn't going to Gen Con because I wouldn't have felt safe.
